Gorakhpur Airport (IATA: GOP), officially known as the Mahayogi Gorakhnath Airport, is located 8 km away from the city of Gorakhpur on the Lucknow-Barauni National Highway; the airport has one terminal and one runway. It functions as a civil air terminal that is under the general surveillance of the Indian Air Force station. The Airports Authority of India administers the airport.
The airport terminal can handle 18 passengers each for arrivals and departures. Facilities offered to passengers, include complimentary baggage services, cafes, and help desks. The airport is well-connected to the city via road and rail links, with the city bus stand located 7.5 km from the airport while the railway station is 8 km away.
Situated along the Rapti River, Gorakhpur is a culturally and historically prominent city of Uttar Pradesh located 270 km east of the state capital, Lucknow. Agatti Aerodrome (IATA: AGX) is the only airport in Lakshadweep and functions as a gateway to the other islands of Lakshadweep. Operated by the Airports Authority of India (AAI), this airport lies at the southern end of Agatti Island and has one asphalt runway. The airport can handle a maximum of 150 passengers.

The airport is well-equipped with X-ray baggage checking, wheelchairs, medical facilities, and traveller assistance. It also houses food and beverage outlets.
