Raipur is the capital city of the eastern Indian state of Chhattisgarh. The city was formerly a part of the state of Madhya Pradesh until the formation of the new state of Chhattisgarh in 2000. Belgaum, also known as Belagavi, is a city located in the western Indian state of Karnataka. Situated at the borders of Maharashtra and Goa, the city lies 484 km from Mumbai and only 115 km from Panjim.
