The Mangaluru Airport is one of the two international airports in Karnataka. This bustling airport is also called the Bajpe Airport. The airport is approximately 6.5 km from Mangaluru city. International flights began operating out of this airport in 2006, and in 2019, the government agreed to a public-private partnership for the management of the airport.
