Bangalore Palace, designed after England's Windsor Castle by Chamaraja Wodeyar in 1887, is a popular tourist attraction in the city. Tipu Sultan's Palace 

Tipu Sultan's Palace or Tipu's Summer Palace was begun by Hyder Ali and completed by his son, Tipu Sultan, in 1791. Built along Indo-Islamic styles, the entire palace is built of teak wood, mortar, stone and plaster and is laid on a stone plinth. The palace now houses a museum showcasing various achievements of Tipu Sultan and his administration as well as the king’s attire. There is also  an art gallery with nearly 1000 historical photos and artefacts of Hyder Ali, Tipu Sultan and other famous personalities. The palace is open on all days except Sunday.

Ulsoor Lake

The enchanting Ulsoor Lake is a manmade lake spanning 125 acres and was built by Kempegowda II. Located about 7.5 km from the Bangalore Railway Station, the lake has a recreational complex with a swimming pool as well as a garden known as Kensington Park. One of the outstanding examples of Indo-Saracenic and Dravidian architecture is Vidhana Soudha, a prominent landmark in Bangalore. Located next to Cubbon Park, it houses the Legislative Chambers of Karnataka. Spread across 60 acres, the white structure comprises several carved pillars, bases, pediments, cornices and arches. Spread over an area of 25,000 acres, a portion of the park became a biological reserve called the Bannerghatta Biological Park in 2002. The Tiruchirappalli International Airport (IATA code: TRZ) is located in Tiruchirappalli in Tamil Nadu. It is located 5 km south of the city centre on National Highway 210, connecting Tiruchirapalli and Rameswaram. It is the third largest airport in the state and has two terminals, one being the Integrated International terminal used for both domestic and international flights and second being the old terminal now serving as the International Cargo Complex.

The two-storey terminal has 20 check-in counters that can accommodate about 470 passengers at a time. One of the holiest locations to visit in Trichy is Jambukeshwar Temple, popularly known as Thiruvanaikoil Temple. It is one of Tamil Nadu's five major temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Built in the Dravidian style by the Cholas in the 2nd century AD, the sanctum has a Shivalingam in the form of Appu lingam (water lingam) and has an underground water stream. The presiding goddess is Devi Akilandeswari Amman or Parvathi. Because the goddess worshipped Lord Shiva here, even today the priest dresses like a female and performs puja to Lord Jambukeswara.

Kallanai Dam 

Grand Anicut, or Kallanai Dam, was originally built by Karikala Cholan around the 2nd century to divert the river waters to the delta districts and boost irrigation. It was re-modeled by the British during the 19th century. The dam is about 329 metres long, 20 metres wide and 5.4 metres high and is made of roughly cemented stone. Located about 20 km from Trichy, the dam is a popular tourist attraction. It has washrooms and food stalls available in the vicinity for the use of visitors.
