We wanted to experience a capsule hotel in Japan so booked our last night here. It was great value! Booked and prepaid in Australia. Men and women are separated but there is a common room upstairs where you can meet and sit for meals etc. It was very clean, you are assigned your own pod at random as well as a locker with toiletries and pajamas. My suitcase would not fit in the small locker (probably the size of a carry on suitcase only would fit or a duffle bag) so I was able to leave it at reception. Important to note it's not really secure as it's near the front door and reception isn't always manned but we felt very safe in Japan and there was no issue at all. On the top floor there is an amazing view of Tokyo Tower! Worth checking it out If you're a light sleeper would recommend bringing ear plugs as you would be able to hear a loud snorer! We also got a voucher for complimentary breakfast at a nearby cafe! There was a few menu options to choose that were included in the coupon vouxher. I got a coffee with egg muffin it was delicious. Would definitely stay here again.

The capsule looks fancy and clean but given a choice I would still consider staying at a proper hotel room. The mattress was not a positive experience for me. I developed a backache the next morning. I would say only stay here if you want to check the box in staying at a capsule hotel. The shower area is on a separate floor and is well equipped. You will be given a small locker but it’s not big enough to secure a luggage. It’s got to be kept unsecured next to the locker.

Close to the station, the capsule is very clean but I didn't realize how many pods are in one room. There are a lot of people walking in and out of the room so it can get quite nosy. There is not much room to organize your luggage since you have to place it in a locker and the locker area is very small. Even organizing everything in the lobby was very difficult. Around 10am you have to leave your capsule and everything including the restrooms are closed until you recheck in at 2pm. If you're looking to do a capsule hotel for fun, 1 night is enough- anything more than that is a little tiresome.

We stayed here just to experience a capsule hotel and enjoyed the capsule itself but we're underwhelmed by the rest, considering the price. The capsules are spacious and both they and the floors they are on are very clean. The other common areas are a bit less well kept, however. There was leftover trash and overflowing trash cans in the lounge and the shower room was a bit messy. The staff seemed apathetic and were the least welcoming of any place we stayed in Japan. They aren't unfriendly but just seem not to care, which is probably why some areas aren't well maintained.

It was fine. It's probably a pretty decent option for young travelers or those on a budget. We thought it would be fun to try on our last night before heading to the airport. I didn't mind the capsules, but I didn't realize they only "close" by a pull down curtain. Not a deal breaker though. But my struggles were with the space for getting your things in and out of the lockers and the dirty showers. The lockers my friend and I each got were on either side very close to the entrances of the elevator, locker bay, and capsule room. We had to move every few seconds for others coming and going while we tried to access our things and play tetris with the lockers. I gave up after finding my charger and toothbrush and went to bed. The showers did not appeal due to clumps of hair in each one. The next morning, I managed to find one that wasn't AS bad and made a quick go of it.
