Superb villas, staff is super helpful and so polite. Very easy check in and helpful front desk members. Staff goes out of their way to help. The villas are beautifully decorated and very clean. Everything is of a high standard. Wouldn’t recommend the villas to people with disabilities or mobility issues as well as those with younger children as rooms are all on different floors and my villa had 4 floors. The stairs are also quite steep. But overall 10/10 experience. Will definitely be returning

By far the BEST hotel in Shanghai due to its unique history - each villa modernly renovated from stone gate houses built by the french in the 1030s. Really amazingly special. Perfect service too. Will be staying here from now on.

I recently stayed here through booking with indagare. It is a very unique property in the French concession. The service was excellent and very accommodating. The rooms are truly in a league of their own. The villas are absolutely gorgeous and extremely spacious. You feel right at home here and never want to leave! It is an oasis in a busy city. Highly recommend!
