First visit to Budapest and staying at the octogon with my Hungarian girlfriend who booked the place. It's a lot of stairs for me to get to the room and no lift. But it's a beautiful old building creating a romantic time. Close to areas with bars and restaurants and the metro. Aircon in the room with a balcony area to eat and socialise. Bed is too soft and room is quite dark but helps to catch up on sleep after traveling. Mini bar in the room, everything is €2 each

The Aircon is from the 70s and does NOTHING. There was an abandoned fridge in our room. Your only window is on a courtyard dominated by a very loud techno exercise place which starts at 7am and keeps going until 11. Lovely staff though.

Quite happy with this hotel. Room: Clean and modern. Facilities: Clean and well maintained gym. Sauna and infra red sauna with showers. All of it immaculately clean. Staff: Really good. Pay attention and offer assistance. Every interaction was what you expect from a higher end hotel. Price: Good enough that we are booking it again. Location: So much good food in short walking distance. Lots of transportation options. Because it’s central, easy access to much of this side of the river within a 10 to 15 minute walk.

The hotel's location is very good, being located downtown close to the centre. It is in a quiet street close to the Spanish and Azeri embassies so it is also very safe. The flat that we got with two separate bedrooms was generally new and clean. The only drawback was that our flat was on the ground floor close to a boxing gym, so from 8 AM onwards the bass from the gym's speakers could be heard and woke us up. Thankfully this wasn't the case during the weekend but it is something to keep in mind for weekdays.

Cool place with a great gym and nice breakfast. The rooms are really small. And the room with a balcony does not have any chairs or other furniture on the balcony. People who are managing the hotel are not working a good job so there is a lot of obscurity. Good location. Do not come in front of hotel with a car, the police will give you a ticket because only taxi can drive true that street in front of hotel.
