        It was one of the best parts of our honeymoon. The room was much bigger than we expected and the biggest of all hotel rooms we had in Japan. We were happy with the western beds and have had a really good nightrest. There were multiple baths which were very clean. Next to that you can reserve a private rooftop bath. It was nice to read something about the source of the water in English. The hosts are very kind and supportive, no matter if you can speak a little bit of Japanese or English or nothing at all. The kaiseki dinner and breakfast was delicious! Definitely recommend!

        This ryokan is conveniently located just 6min easy walk from the Hakone-Yumoto Station. The onsen was fabulous, and tatami experience was amazing. The room unfortunately had a stale, musty scent particularly at the entrance, otherwise it was a very good size and comfortable room. Also, the room was hot like 30C when we first checked in. The AC is weak so it took hours for the room to cool down. Given check in time is at 3pm, the staff could’ve prepared the room ahead so we didn’t have to endure that discomfort. The AC and air purifier were also quite loud so it was hard to get a good night’s sleep. The meals were very pleasantly served but the vegetables tasted rather horrible. Lastly, the English instructions, whether verbal or written, were very poor so it’s a guessing game for all non-Japanese speakers

        Undeniably amazing!! Floor and bed futon arrangements, nice tatami mats, scheduled public onsen baths and bookable private onsen semi outdoor available. Food included was amaaaaazing I'm so full just reminiscing. Service was awesome with a middle aged lady being there most memorable - I didn't get her name. Finishing off a great experience with inclusive yukata robes, tabi socks and vests to suit the season (spring) to wear around the venue. Bathhouse kitted with various toiletries to share and packaged for single use. Tv was on Japanese channel, which I didn't mind, as I felt so immersed and relaxed in the venue in was happy to just be having their complimentary matcha tea and having conversations.

        Thanks to this hotel we were a able to enjoy our time in Hakone even with the heavy rain... The staff is really helpful and the place makes you feel like you are japanese. There are 3 onsens, I recommend renting the private one at night to enjoy at night. On top of that we had wonderful dinner and breakfast.

          Booking Policy
          It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.
          The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.
