The location is the only plus point about this hotel. There is absolutely no room service. There was no hot water in the mornings for taking a shower, it used to be available only around noon or evening. They provide 2 water bottles per day and very adamantly only in the afternoon during room service. I once requested in the morning while we were stepping out for sight seeing, they didn't provide it. We had to pay a price for early check in though rooms were available because we landed early. The rooms don't look very neat. There is absolutely nothing to watch on the TV. You cannot spend even half an hour in the hotel room, if not you are sleeping. When we checked out early but had to wait in the lobby for our evening flight, there was one washroom in the lobby to be used. It smelled so horrible and so under maintained. I almost got disgusted and I didn't even enter inside. If you are looking to spend some relaxing time in the hotel, please skip this hotel. It is however close to many places like Central Market , China town, KL tower, river of life etc.

HOTEL PACIFIC EXPRESS is best known for its location. It is almost in Central Market or at the beginning of China Town. There are a lot of less expensive eateries around here. The Rooms are good. Maintained well. The washrooms are also clean and tidy. The front office is always crowded with a lot of foreign tourists like us. But the staff manage the crowd very well. I stay at this Pacific ( there is one more Hotel with this name nearby) frequently. This time I stayed here for 5 days with my family. After breakfast one day, we forgot our bag containing our passports and money and almost all of our documents at one of their Dining tables. We realised it only after nearly an hour. When we dashed to the Front Office to report it, we found the staff searching for us to return our belongings. SO NICE & KIND OF THEM. Thank you guys... Their complimentary breakfast is awesome and the place is crowded almost everyday. Takes about an hour to finish the breakfast. Their Pool is on the Roof and it is almost empty after sunset. The final word...this place is surprisingly reasonably priced and they take all payments in advance.

Overall star I would like to give 5 but the food options are so very bad... Especially vegetarian food is so so bad. You can't expect us to eat bread every morning. Atleast when u keep egg fried rice why not pure veg rice too. Updated: Thanks to the chef team who made Indian food during next 2days of our stay.

My recent stay at Pacific Express Hotel Central Market was enjoyable overall. The room was exceptionally clean and surprisingly quiet, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep in the midst of the bustling city. The hotel's location is its biggest asset, with major attractions like KL Tower, Merdeka 118, the National Mosque, and Chinatown, just a stone's throw away. While the proximity to these attractions was a definite plus, I found the breakfast options somewhat limited. However, the friendly staff and the convenient location made up for it. If you're looking for a clean, quiet stay near Kuala Lumpur's main sights and don't mind exploring breakfast options outside the hotel, Pacific Express Hotel Central Market is a solid choice.

Love the location of the hotel. Walkable to a number of sights. You can even walk to the 2 train stations nearby. Room wise I think it’s value for money for what it’s paid and the location. Pillow was kinda high. Door are not soundproof. Went to the rooftop pool and the view was amazing. Just that the rooftop requires some tidying. Gym was located in a dodgy place near the pool.
