On November 1st, 1966, Kullu was designated as a Himachal Pradesh district, after having been a province of Punjab since 1963. Beas Kund Trek

Beas Kund Trek starts from Manali and stretches to Dhundi, which is located at a distance of 3,150 m from the starting point. It takes around 6 hours to complete this gradual trail. The path from Dhundi to Bakarthach, with a height of 3,300 m, is a little risky, which ultimately leads to Beas Kund. Chandrakhani Pass

Chandrakhani Pass is located 3,660 metres above sea level and around 44 km from Kullu. Situated in the Himalayan range, this pass is noted for its scenic splendour and great trekking pathways. Acting as a bridge between Kullu and the Parvati valley, this pass is deemed to be a relatively easy trek due to the easy gradient. As you move forward, the Pir Panjal range in the north, the Bara Bangal range in the west and the Parvati range in the east will greet you.
