The Raipur airport is officially known as Swami Vivekananda Airport (IATA code: RPR). It was renamed in memory of Swami Vivekanand, who had spent a part of his life in Raipur. It is the 22nd busiest airport in India in terms of passenger traffic. The airport has only one terminal for all its operations. The new integrated terminal has two aero-bridges, 20 check-in counters, eight X-ray baggage machines, and two conveyor belts for luggage. Currently, Air India, IndiGo, Vistara, and Go First operate in Raipur. The Swami Vivekananda Airport is 15 km south of Raipur.
