Firstly, I had a prior booking which was cancelled by the owner at the last minute..I was made to stay at another hotel which seemed haunted. When I insisted on being shifted to Amax, it was done 2 days later after much negotiation. This hotel has a basic kitchen and you get basic meals. Lunch is ready by 10 AM and you can have it before going out for your work/ tour and then come back for dinner. The rooms are good, and hot water is available. On demand. TV wasn't functioning in all the 4 days of my stay. The staff is very polite and service is quite fast.

My stay at Hotel Amax Inn was a wonderful experience. The hotel's cozy and well-appointed rooms provided a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the city. The staff's warm hospitality and attentiveness truly made me feel welcome. The central location was a huge plus, making it easy to access various attractions and transportation options. I also enjoyed the on-site restaurant's delicious offerings. Overall, Hotel Amax Inn offers a great value for a pleasant stay in the city.

Second time staying here, Lonely Planet fame. Unfortunately everything is terrible here now, stay away. Luxury room that I booked had a rat in the room that comes out of ac unit and jumps into the bed, OMG. Never in my life I had this experience. No bidet in toilet, no soap holder in bath, shower doesn't work (but bucket bath is OK). All night long noise from downstairs, pigeons mating inside AC. Loud calling bell for workers. Weird look whenever we gets in. Bad neighborhoods in Arakashan Marg. But it costed only 4319 for 3 nights. 1440 per night. Still not worth it.
