Beautiful island but mostly rocky beaches except Vijay Nagar beach that is coral sand. There are no waves at all as the beach drops gently away for a couple of hundred yards or more. Lovely aquamarine water where local fishermen net their catches very close to shore in only a couple of feet of water. Large schools of fish darken the water and they scarper as you get close!

Havelock island is a great place. Commercial activities galore. Many different times settlements from after Bangladesh 🇧🇩 was created, the Hindus were settled on this island. Thus the name of beaches have numbers to it. Loads of staying options. Ferries are frequent. Lot of food places, restaurants, party 🎉 places, beaches with scenery as well as sports activities. It's a lively fun place. At least 2 days to spend here.

Beautiful island!!! The turquoise water and white sandy beaches are just wow. If you are coming to Andaman and not visiting Havelock, then you saw nothing. Water activities here are so good. I did scuba diving, and it was so good.
