Great location and best rooms available at Madurai. Delicious breakfast and dinner. Poor service. We had booked a junior suite room. We checked in late and probably due to the timing there was not much guidance as to where the room is and what are the amenities available at the room. We were given the key and asked to go to the room by ourselves. Our luggage also took time to arrive. In addition to this, we had to cancel the birthday cake cutting we planned on the date of stay. I had called the hotel a couple of days earlier to check if birthday cakes are available in the room and was told I can order it anytime from the cafe -both 1/2kg and 1kg. So I didn't order it earlier. However when we called to check for available options, we were told only a few flavours are available and the too only 1kg cakes. Apparently we had to order before 1pm if we needed a 1/2kg cake of our choice. This was never mentioned to us before and also they have a cut off time of 1pm while the check in time itself is 3pm. We ordered a pastry instead from the cafe which turned out to be pathetic. All the other food items we had were good and the service while checking out was also good.

Good place to stay in Madurai. You can expect the standard Marriott Courtyard experience and hospitality. The local cuisine served here is definitely worth trying. I ordered a local meal as room service and it was very tasty. We also had the buffet breakfast which was really good and had many varieties as well. Infact the food is better than many Courtyard properties I have stayed before.

Courtyard Madurai is one of the best hotels in the town.We have hosted our wedding recently and everything was on point. Mr.Harshavardhan and team made sure everything was taken care of and made us very comfortable in hosting the event.Loved their hospitality. Special mention to the lunch served as it was top notch.Mr.Hrshavardhan helped us in selection of menu and made sure we were served with best menu. Great place to host events in madurai and highly recommended.

This is a Marriott and it shows in the well maintained rooms and the excellent restaurant. There is a free breakfast buffet for the guests and there is a dinner buffet on payment. I would strongly recommend this restaurant. Rafikul at the restaurant served us. He is a polite and courteous person. Very efficient. Works quietly and consistently. I wish him well in the career.
