We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Fairmount🫶. The charm of this cozy resort nestled near the lush hills of Shimla is truly remarkable. The staff specially were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure every aspect of our stay was perfect. The resort itself was well-maintained, clean, and had a rustic yet modern feel. The wooden interiors added to the overall ambiance, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and greenery from our room were simply mesmerizing 😍. One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious ❤️food served. The location of Fairmount is also Fabulous, providing easy access to kufri narkanda road and other attractions while still offering a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the town. Overall, this was my 1st visit with my family and my stay was an unforgettable experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and serene stay in Shimla.

Stayed for 2 nights during March 2023 Pros : - beautifully constructed property - extremely well maintained - the washrooms are well equipped and spotless clean : very well maintained. - super friendly and prompt staff - well functional wall mounted room heater in every room - plenty of amenities provided in the room - highly responsive front desk. Will address each and every query of yours asap. - full length mirrors in the room - adequate parking available. Cons : - located at an very secluded area - the food menu is on the expensive side - the food was not suitable fr our taste buds. We talked regarding the same with the restaurant, they addressed it very politely and professionally and cooked accordingly fr us after that. Gist : an amazing property with friendly staffs.

WORST HOTEL WITH STINKING TOILET - STAY AWAY We stayed in this hotel for 2 nightS( 16/6/23 and 17/6/23). This hotel building is very old so rooms are not maintained for years. The main issue is with the toilet rest can be forgiven. The toilets have no exhaust fans and stink . So I contacted the reception and they said, the majority of the rooms have no exhaust fans .My wife's effort with lotions and dettol didn't work and the stay spoiled our happiness of Shimla vacation. The rusted and uncleaned picture of the dustbin attached here is one example of the quality of the stay here. The towels provided were rough and worn out and at least 10 years old. It is mentioned as a 3 star hotel , but No Tea maker - ok no problem . But NO SOAP in the washroom and they have kept only low quality liquid soap in the toilet which canot be used for face wash. Don't use the blanket kept in the almirah- it smells bad and not washed for years. The only positive thing about the hotel is the food and dining area. If you want to smell the sewer lines of Shimla you are welcome to this hotel- otherwise STAY FROM THIS HOTEL .
