Gateway Coorg

It's one of the best resorts to enjoy leisure with family and friends and the best if you have a pet traveling with you. They are equally courteous to both humans and animals. The food is great, options are abundant. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and will be planning a trip back soon.

Our stay at Aurika Coorg was One of the most pleasant experiences. We booked 2rooms 115 & 116. The Resort staff one and all, right from the person who opened the gate Mr Sharma to the front desk staff to everyone definitely deserve praise and appreciation note for their kindness & exceptional customer service. It is therefore customary for me to give a message of gratitude to them . The ambience, the food, the rooms n cleanliness, the spik n span toilet everything about them was super awesome. We dont have a pet but enjoyed watching other guest's pets & Our heart was filled with joy. Pets were thoroughly enjoying their vacation. Special thanks to Ganesh sir for the coffee plantation tour and morning walk in the forest to watch birds. He is an excellent story teller very knowledgeable and highly qualified person with good etiquette. The sounds he makes matches that of the birds n unbelievable but the birds respond to his sounds. At the end of the tour we washed our face with the herbal water which ganesh gave us. It was magical. The restaurant service n food was extremely good with young boys & girls ever smiling, very polite n happy to help us. Mayank the manager from the restaurant n krishnan from the coffe shop with his sweet assistant were very helpful. Pooja kept our room very clean. Everyone from the Resort did something genuinely exceptional for us. Special appreciation to the garden cleaning team. Whenever we met they smiled n greeted us saying namaste. I guess all this happens when you keep your staff happy. I think they deserve an increase in salary after this review😜. This is for your reference. One of us suddenly felt uncomfortable & sick. Mr Suresh Billigiri owner of Venlok medical was extremely kind and generous to provide us all the medicines immediately. He personally sent a Rickshaw at his own expense and delivered the medicines. They say there are no good people out there, but this is a confirmation that they still exist. We really appreciate his kind gesture. You may contact him n add him on your list just incase anyone requires medicines as many tourist have experienced his kindness. The kindness with which Aurika took care of us was overwhelming. Thanks a ton for your unforgettable warmth and hospitality. We will certainly come back here. I highly recommend this place.
