Grand One Tower

My stay was great. 1. Nearest to Apollo Hospital 2. Rooms are as shown in pictures (Clean and Hygienic) 3. Well behaved and polite staff. 4. Fast room service. 5. Supermart and other eateries are available nearby. 6. A pharmacy is attached to the hotel that delivers any required medicine at your doorstep. 7. All essentials are easily accessible. In simple words, it's a value for money hotel. If I ever visit to Chennai again, I will definately choose this hotel.

An ordinary hotel near to Apollo hosp. Rooms are very average (size is small), no restaurant and highly focussed on Apollo crowd. My room costed 4700/-, but honestly its too overpriced. In terms of doing business, the front desk activities are very suspicious. No bills for transactions (unless you repeatedly emphasize), they make a fuss over GST bills, cashless transaction are not much entertained and overall activities remained suspicious. I did an Early checkin and was offered a downgrade room (due to my early checkin ) and then wanted some extension of couple of hours on my checkout, next day which was refused and they insisted paying cash of 2520/- as a full additional day stay for which they refused to provide a bill too. I then decided to check out and then they say that 24 hrs is over and now anyway i have to pay for the second day. I had to take a stand that i am not willing to pay as i am eligible for some grace period for my stay. The reluctant staff finally requested i pay some amount and i paid 1000 rs to his personal account and i vacated immediately. Overall it has been a poor and terrible experience on all accounts. May be the management could bring a bit of integrity on the transactions and look at the customers with a bit of compassion, as most of them are patients and are already in some stress.
