I visited Greenwood Resort for a lunch party with my colleagues. I liked the ambience very much. Good for giving a good treat to parents/ families. Every thing looks super organised.

My experience was not good. This hotel is focussed on marriage functions or conferences they have taken. Staff do not provide proper service to guests who are staying there. We stayed for 2 days. First day when we went to have breakfast there were 200 people having breakfast in dining area which was like langar going on with only 4 items.
Second day when we were checking out they took 50 mins to get our luggage from our room. All staff was busy with marriage function.
Service was below, below par.
Property was good, rooms were average but service was abysmal.

We had a terrible experience at Greenwood resort. We were doing a weekend staycation to spend New Year’s Eve peacefully in the greenery but our stay there left us tired and frustrated. We couldn’t get any sleep due to the pathetic music and dj playing almost all night long for 2 nights. When that stopped there was the continuous ruckus created by hundreds of pigeons nesting just above our suite rooms. We were with our 3months old baby and couldn’t have had a worse experience. The breakfast was very very average. The New Year’s Eve party had the cheapest songs being played. The buffet food menu was same for dinner and lunch. So there is no way of knowing if it was freshly prepared the next day or it was the leftovers. The service was very very slow. No complimentary drinking water bottles given even in the suite rooms. We kept asking for drinking water and finally got it after 6-7hours. The room rent was exceptionally high given how crude the suite rooms were. Probably the most basic suite rooms in any resort ever. The only good part was the greenery and the food at Bagan cafe which finally opened on the 2nd. Even our checkout experience was bad as we had to wait for the golf cart for an hour to carry our luggage back, despite calling the reception multiple times. To sum it up, our stay couldn’t have been any worse!
