Decent place to stay if you’re visiting Amritsar for golden temple which is fairly close to the temple. Room condition can be bettered, otherwise has a wonderful stay at this hotel and the manager Chandan is an extremely humble and decent person with great support and help.

I have travelled extensively but this is a first time I saw such blatant inconsistencies with what's written on booking websites to what's really available on site. The hotel was very dirty, the floor was visibly black and brown as if it wasn’t cleaned in ages. The bedsheets, blankets, pillow cases are probably cleaned twice a year or less and they smell of all the people who have used it previously. The pillows had the stuffing coming out. The rooms were musty and triggered an allergic reaction in my husband. All this in the Standard AC Room, we had 2 rooms, both were the same. Also, the MCV in our room kept tripping, it took us forever to get hot water for our baths and we could not even charge our phones. The location is good with respect to the Golden Temple, but it could be so much better if they just maintained hygiene and cleanliness. The staff was not bad but they can only do what their bosses say. So, I would advise the owners to work on the cleanliness factor in a big way.
