Hotel Ashwin is very good place to spend vacation with family, kids and friends. A single stop place to have fun and banter time. Hotel staff and services are much appreciated, apart from facilities all arrangement for break fast, lunch, dinner is delicious with multiple option of food they serve. Hotel Room are neat and clean. I recommend this to all.

I have just been back from Igatpuri after spending the republic day weekend in hotel Ashwin. I was skeptical at first looking at some negative reviews but from what i experienced looks like this place has improved a lot to the current state (if i have to believe the reviews). The Room was spic and span, spacious for 4 people, had everything you need including a double bed two sofa cum beds, chairs, tables and most importantly a clean washroom and a straightforward way of getting 24hrs hot water which is the main criteria for me to judge an accommodation Everywhere else they expect you to leave the tap on, waste water wondering when hot water will come and then struggle with combinations of switch and tap handle directions. This proves they have put a lot of thought in making guest stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. The food was awesome and the staff was very polite and patient. The only thing i could consciously complain about is the room service charges, specially for weekends when you expect too much crowd, lack of tables and "Noise". It would be helpful for the hotel management to promote lower room service charges to avoid some chaos for themselves as well The location is also central to the top 5 sightseeing spots within 6 to 7 KMs which you can also DIY. Three cheers for the hotel staff, the receptionist and a shout out to the host Rocky Gangar for his hospitality -Vivian **One for guests: If you are staying somewhere, show some manners and educate your kids aswell. You are in a shared space and not in your homes so keep your noise down and respect fellow guests privacy and be polite to the staff

Overall very good time spent with my family at Hotel Ashwin . Rooms are clean . Very good service and atitude shown by the staff members. Very tasty food at Tulsi Restaurant. Good Value for money.

Don't bother to book this place if you expect to be treated well. Basic rooms, not much to do on property, swimming pool is not maintained, play area is a joke, food they offer is pretty basic for the price they are charging. Room cleaning not before 2pm and the lade even refused to change glasses in the room, she just washed them with water in bathroom, bedsheet not changed just rearranged.
