Hotel Deep Ganga Inn

Zero or max One star hotel---not recommended for family. Avoid it if you want a peaceful and relaxing vacation. It's totally funny to sea the word "Resort" to the name of the hotel. Please do not confuse yourself and do not assume that it is a resort. Most positive google reviews here are Fake. You can find it if you see carefully (e.g., hotel management itself given them 5 star rating :D; e.g., see review by Deep Ganga Inn, Pantu Marketing LLP). Pro: -- Good location -- Behaviour of reception staffs were overall good and friendly --but seems there were limited by the poor management, training and facilities -- One of the staffs helped to arrange a car on our check out day -- Nearby lighthouse beach is less crowded and clean -- View from sea-facing room was somewhat okay..but not awesome while you see or touch dirty windows Con: -- Poor quality rooms..not properly maintained and cleaned --even after check-in we found the rooms were full of dust and floor was not clean -- Bathroom quality was very ordinary with very limited and insufficient toiletries -- they don't have any breakfast facility, brings low-quality food on request from outside -- The staffs are not well trained and not very professional-- They have no knowledge how to keep promise of time -- They did not clean the rooms regularly and had to request multiple times -- just provided one 30 years old towel in a room -- Noisy--the lift is very old with gate systems + noise --used to create open/close instructions very loudley... it starts from early morning to late night--not comfortable for sleep for aged persons and kids -- It is also part of unethical group of Goroomgo--one of the receptionist admitted that THEY HAVE THE OPTIONS TO SUBMIT FAKE POSITIVE/GOOD REVIEWS IN MULTIPLE PLATFORMS to improve the rating of their hotel -- room furnitures, floor mats were torn out -- TV were not working properly in most of our rooms + picture and sound quality were poor -- Some furnitures were damaged -- There were no proper window..seems they made very cheap quality window at the cheapest cost -- Long away from main market areas of Puri beach For sure, I would not stay here again and would not recommend anyone to stay there.
