Simple place with modest furnishings, washroom needs to be upgraded. Thankfully, air conditioner is well serviced. Vegetarian cuisine only, liked their Aloo Paratha, curd and and achaar.

Nice! Hotel Grand View is located in Chandigarh Sector-22. I stayed here for 1 day and the staff were very nice. The rooms were comfortable, almost with zero noise. Everything in the room were functional like A.C., Geyser etc. The towel they provided us were too old as threads were broken and hanging from its edges. They also provide food services but I had my own.

Its worth the money. Its located at the heart of the city in the first sector that was developed in Chandigarh. Other restaurants and bar/pubs are at a walkable distance. And moreover the food served here is superb! Very tasty at the same time not too costly. Don't expect non veg food though. Surprisingly the toilets are clean and has working water heaters too. They also provide you with towels and bathing soap. The staff here is very friendly and will help tourists out with directions or taxi service. The parking space right outside the hotel is a taxi stand too. The rooms might feel a bit small for two people to walk about. This can be solved if you neatly put all your luggage in the wardrobe provided. The only minus point I see is the lack of plug points available. In the room I got only one empty plug point was there. I had to remove the TV and receivers wire to attain two more plug points. And there weren't any toilet papers or water faucets so you'll have to clean that bum of yours using the Indian method (bucket, mug and hand). Also remember to ask for a room with window if you need so.

In my previous Stay i gave them 4 star rating. But when I met the Owner Mr. Jain then I came to know the difficulties and day to day challenges to run a Hotel. I found him Thoroughly Engrossed into his Profession and taking all pains at his personal level to ensure a comfortable stay especially for female guests. There kitchen is so Neat and Clean and they prepare very Tasty Paranthas, Pakoras and Tea. It was a Pleasure to saw Complimentary Slippers Outside the Bathroom.😍 I have stayed there now several times, and feel at ease there.

One of the worst experiences one could have at a hotel. I had to change my room twice due to various reasons. In the first room there was a bad odour of smoking. The manager was rude as well. The room's wall had paint that was deteriorated. The room's washroom sucked. The geyser was not working. The flush out button in the washroom was broken as well. Tiles were broken. In the end i would say it's totally worthless to book a room in this particular hotel.
