If you're searching for a good hotel for family and friends at reasonable rates, near to Ratnagiri Railway Station and good rooms. Then, Hotel Kanchan is a very good option. I stayed here for 3 days. Very good room service, polite behaviour of staff, clean rooms & bathroom. Impressed with their hospitality and environment. They have good parking space too. The only problem you'll face here is fish smell. I think there is a fish cold storage behind the hotel. Management need to solve this problem only. At the end, overall it was good experience. Thank you.

An average affordable hotel in MiDC area. It has a swiming pool, but the water didnt look clean. It is near to Ratnagiri railway station , but being in vicinity of MIDC there was a foul smell of fish (more of dried fish) coming through post eveing from the neighbouring fish processing factory.

Staff has no manners to talk with customer . They behave rudely with elders, there is one person called Mr.Dange in their staff who has absolutely no manners to talk .I wonder how he got his job here as a manager.

Overall good stay enjoyed with family kids were happy and enjoyed the pool, and our room was poolside and we watch our kids enjoy in the pool. The only thing I did not like is the women at the reception. Being in service industry the reception lady dint even greet or wished in my 2 days of stay. But other staff were very courteous and helping us to carry the bags. Food was tasty and affordable etc. Suggestion: clean the pool often
