Best place to stay put near the Leh main market, if you like airy rooms, spiffy food and a luxuriant garden bubbling with juicy apple trees.

They have a beautiful garden with apple tress and lot of flowers. Rooms are just okay they are big but not maintained well they were not clean. Food is good and kitchen staffs were well mannered. A good stay for a low budget...it is very near to Shanti stupa... almost it is in the foot of the Stupa.

Everything is so good. Rooms are very well decorated and spacious. Food is outstanding. The staffs behave like family members. The best part is the managerial capacity of Mr Tashi. He solves almost every problem. All these come at a very reasonable price.

Oriental hotel Pros 1. Look and feel of the hotel is good externally 2. Food is tasty 3. Kitchen staff is polite Cos 1. No kettle for hot water 2. Transparent curtains in the bathroom. The room i received has bathrom windows right opposite to next building's living room windows. 3. Reception / manager is hopeless. Request them something and you will not hear from them unless you chase them 3 4 times False promises of arranging a weight machine for hair dryer 4. Pathetic wifi network as it will not reach out to second floor, slow net even at the ground floor 5. Un organized ,undisciplined, un maintained and not customer centric housekeeping . The bedsheet was dirty, we asked them to change it. They are only worried about the process. It seems that the house keeping is lazy, stubborn who doesn't listen to manager. 6. Warm lights in room are dim ,needs to be replaced. Perfect room and its passage for a horror cinema shoot 7. No weighing scale for check in baggage.
