Hotel O mannat

The staff is either not trained or just doesn't care. They don't have any inclination towards providing basic service or maintaining the property. This was the worst stay I've ever had at a hotel. The receptionist checked me into a room that was already occupied by someone. The bed was dirty, there was leftover food in the room and dirty towels. When I called them, the response I got was - We are sending a boy to clean the room. I've never had a check in experience like this. I had to call twice to get the room changed. The new room on first glance looked clean, but the moment I lifted the blanket I could see crumbs and small stains across the bed. They had just covered the bed with the blanket without bothering to clean it. There was no magnetic or any other key for the room. They said the key was available at the reception, so I asked them to get it. They never came back with it. Being tired, I didn't create more fuss. I just cleaned the bed by myself. I stepped out after some time, and of course since there was no key I took all my stuff with me. I had already paid in advance + I was super tired so I didn't want to go looking for another hotel. I told them to get the room cleaned till I got back. I even called them half an hour before I was to reach back to get the room cleaned. Of course when I got back, no cleaning had been done. I had to again ask them to do it and then they sent two people up to the room. The cleaning activity in itself was amazing, because right in front of me, they just took the blanket and put it completely over the bed. They didn't bother to even swipe away anything from the bed and just covered it like that. They poured some sanitiser on the floor and mopped it. They were stepping out to leave after that and I had to remind them that the dustbins had to be cleaned too, along with the washroom, and to give me fresh towels. You could feel that they didn't really care. Thankfully I didn't have a long stay, otherwise this would have been horrendous. The funniest part was that when I was checking out, the receptionist told me - please don't spoil our rating on Oyo. The staff is just terrible. They are not even bothering to do the bare minimum to maintain the hotel. Basic courtesy and cleaning essentials is lacking. If they are so careless during covid times, I can only imagine how they were before.

I would have given zero stars, if there was an option, pathetic service, dirty bedsheets, toilet flush not working, no towels in bathroom, didn't provide us the extra bedding, even after commitment by the Oyo app, when asked for the bill, i was told it can only be available after 11 am, I had to leave at 8 am so I left, they told me that they will send it through mail, but haven't received the same. Very unprofessional
