Although the hotel is well-located and the room was clean, it's the worst place I've ever been because of the treatment received. No towel, no blanket, no toilet paper, no soap, nothing. I arrived at 5AM, they said if I wanted to early check-in I could for an extra money. I decided to kept my luggage in the hotel and explore the city. When I arrived, they moved and dirtied my backpack. The room was empty and it was 11 AM but they didn't let me check-in until 12. I was exhausted... Furthermore, they were very rude to me. Next to this hotel you can find lodges and hotel cheaper than this and with friendlier staff.

Upon reaching Madurai junction, an auto driver suggested that he would help me find rooms nearby and took me on a tour. All hotels charged more despite telling them that I just wanted the room for refreshment purposes as I did not priorly book a retiring room in Madurai. In Kumbakonam and other places they allot rooms just for taking bath and vacating the room. For a reasonable price. However, no hotels/lodges in Madurai agreed to that concept. And most hotels did not have hot water facility, for people travelling from bangalore and other cold places, they are not used to showering with cold water at 7:30 am. Anyway, coming to this room, only positive is it has a working Lift. On conclusion, Rooms are pretty old and dusty and unattractive, I would not spend the night in this place.

It's an average hotel, rooms are moderately clean but very old building. If u r looking for a budget hotel for family its okay. Near to west tower of madhura Meenakshi temple-only 8 minutes walk. Car parking available. In many other lodges we have to park in roadside which is not safe. No water problem. No phone to connect reception which was little inconvenient. 1500 for a/c double room. No restaurant attached to the lodge. Nearby sree sabreesh is a great restaurant for food.
