Good place to eat in Bijanbari market. The ambience is inviting and cozy. Food is good and price is very reasonable. Stopped only for momos and tea though. The momo dip was finger licking good.

This hotel is off the beaten track, but surprisingly very clean, comfortable and modern. Linens, towels, bathroom, hot water all equivalent to western standards. Our room smelled quite musty - needed to be aired - and the window was blocked off by construction. But our friends room was fine. Good breakfast.

This is the hotel we booked for our 2 days stay in darjeeling. While booking the hotel, you will get to see it in the mid of the town and if you follow the map. It actually has nothing in that place. After that you make a call to the hotel, it is 30 odd kilometers away from the location where it is actually marked in map. Now 30 km in hilly area is like travelling a whole day as u are new to the place. And that way if you book this hotel, you will waste a day. And once, finally if you enter the hotel, you will get to know many people are facing the same and most of them are cancelling the booking for next day. Now abt food, ask them, they will say u will get everything. But once u start ordering. Their reply would be sorry sir we dont have that currently. Its like a scam. Every one visiting and facing this should write here so that they dont get to repeat the same with other people
