The worst experience with so called the expensive hotel in kohima. I had pre booked the lounge especially mentioning that there will be kids alongwith the parents to the lounge. An evening prior the authorities agreed and so i made the booking and got my guests (around 15 of us) on the next evening. To our shock, no one came to take the orders and the manager started telling that the kids are not allowed inside the lounge inspite of me requesting him to speak to the authorities as self had taken the permission an evening prior. He was adamant to speak to his colleagues also. There was no other guest than us in the whole lounge even after we leaving. They allowed us to sit outside near parking in the morung. The service was so pathetic that they could serve us the drinks after 30 mins. To add to the chaos, only one of the steward was there to take orders and even serve us. One round of snacks and drinks took one hour plus for them. When we were placing the order for main course, the person informed that the chefs have left and no food can be served except the fast food items (which were cooked by the stewards). What kind of professionalism they carry. I felt ashamed of taking my guests to one of the so called best property at kohima. The manager was called and all he could do was just apologise for everything. I request everyone to take a conscious call before going to such a pathetic place where you will probably have to face the embarassment only with paying hefty amount of bills ( i shelled out 15,100₹ for just a round of drinks and that too normal ones and few dishes of fast food). I STRONGLY RECOMMEND people to NOT visit Hotel Vivor. Highly UNPROFESSIONAL staff. Regards

We came here for a cup of coffee. We ordered coffee and some snacks. The restaurant wasn’t maintained that well. There were so many cobwebs on the ceiling corners. The waiters were entitled and I believe, not trained very well. When we moved the glass on the table, there was a cockroach running through it! The waiter was neither apologetic nor empathetic to our situation. She was also equally disgusted with us 🤣🤣. She neither offered to change the glass nor the table until we asked her for another glass. Quite unfortunately we did not have a good experience. A massive cleaning drive is imperative, given a huge amount of money being invested here!
