1. The rooms and washrooms were stinking and even after the hotel manager spraying air freshener, the situation was the same. 2. Washrooms were stinking more than any public washroom would. The seats were yellow. 3. The bed mattress was torn and when asked to replace it, the hotel staff was changing it with his shoes on the bed. How can one sleep on that bed? 4. Parking - The hotel manager asked us to bring the car near the hotel and assured us of helping us with parking. However, to our dismay, when we reached the hotel it completely turned on his words and asked us to park ourselves without any help from him. 5. There were spider webs near the bed. 6. Mr. Kailesh, the hotel manager there, is a person who doesn't know how to treat customers in the hospitality industry. I want to give ratings in negative but that's not possible.

The washrooms stink and food is distasteful. The staff is highly responsive and friendly. Rooms are affordable and provide a comfortable stay. But, proper cleaning is required. The site offers a picturesque view. Vehicles cannot be parked in the vicinity of hotel, so you must park far away.

After other horrible experiences with hotels and hotel owners in Shimla it was nice to show up to a place and not feel like a piece of meat with a money sign over my head. Staff were attentive and nice even with limited English. Room was as pictured. Heater provided was proper and heated the room fully. Food in restaurant was priced fair and tasty. Breakfast included made for a very nice morning. WiFi in room fast. Hot water and shower decent and manageable. Over all a very pleasant stay and properly priced hotel for tourist, backpackers, and any other sort of travelers. Will be coming back when in Shimla again!
