Last month we stayed at kaav safari lodge in Kabini. Seeing the pictures & tariff we thought it would be a fabulous property amidst the jungle. But to our utter disappointment we were taken aback by the services they offer. It was really pathetic & absolutely not value for money. Don’t get lured by the pictures posted on their site. Sorry to say, Not worth visiting & dumping ur money.

It's been quite a while since we visited this resort way back in oct 2016, and if you are seeing this a lot would have been changed or improved over the years. We booked for 2 days but we stayed only for a day and we left. It was good and quiet for sure but somehow felt a little uncomfortable after staying for a day and glad we were only charged for a day ..17k at that time was a bit costly for a superior room considering for what has been provided.

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful time here! The property itself is beautiful. We were looking for a place to unwind and Kaav gave us the much needed tranquility we desired. The staff's generous hospitality made it feel like home away from home. Divya, Sujith and the team were incredibly tuned in to whatever we needed and helped us plan our activities throughout our stay. Over and above the safaris, we highly recommend borrowing bikes from the property and riding around Kabini. Special shout out to the chef! The food was absolutely delectable and we gorged at every meal time.

Very bad experience with Kaav Resort. I stayed with my family for 1 night - had reserved 1 cottage and 1 tent. In the morning, hot water suddenly stopped. I called the manager to get it fixed. He kept on promising that it will be done in 10 mins..15 mins and so on...my 80 year old mother had to take a bath with cold water! My 70 years old aunt was almost ready to walk in rain to the tent in order to have a hot water bath. I kept requesting her to be patient as manager was committing that it would be fixed soon. Finally, after almost 2 hours, I requested the manager to boil hot water and bring it to the room. Rather than spending a peaceful morning at Kaav, the entire morning was wasted due to this issue. After repeatedly escalating their matter to the management for refund as this is an unacceptable experience from a luxury resort after paying almost 50k for 1 night, they have decided that this is a rare occurence and they can't do anything about it! Their person justified it by saying that it happened in the checkout morning! I rarely come out on social media to talk about bad experience. Even if they had offered a meaningful apology, I would have considered it. However, I have decided to give this review given their complete apathy to a customer's inconvenience and such ridiculous justification! This isn't something one expects from a luxury resort. If one wants to charge top money for being a luxury resort, then one also needs to back it up with top service!
