Went for lunch... food was great. Good service. Annoying bits were lack of common sense of reception staff who told not sit anywhere apart from dining area as it is meant exclusively for room guests. We were group with kids who were playing around and this was big mood kill. No roaming around the estate as well to take kids for a walk. For this. I better save time and keep my money in my pocket and go to meenakshi bhavan next time.

I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frustration with the recent experience we had at Kimmane Golf Resort in Shivamoga. We hosted our son's birthday party at the resort for 100 guests, and unfortunately, the overall experience was far from satisfactory. The primary point of contact for our booking was Mr. Prashanth, the manager. From the outset, we requested him to draft an email outlining the advance payment details and the terms and conditions of the resort. Despite numerous follow-ups, Mr. Prashanth failed to send the email and instead communicated information sporadically over phone calls and WhatsApp messages. This lack of written communication led to confusion and, ultimately, to a series of miscommunications and unfulfilled promises. As the event date approached, Mr. Prashanth introduced new rules and conditions that were never discussed or agreed upon during the booking process. This abrupt change in communication left us frustrated and questioning the integrity of the arrangements made for the party. During the event, we encountered further issues. Despite our explicit instructions, the resort staff did not take responsibility for refilling the food when it ran out, forcing us to station someone from our side near the buffet area. Additionally, the lack of adequate lighting in the pool and buffet areas was a major concern. Elders present at the party had difficulty seeing the food due to dim lighting, and Mr. Prashanth's dismissive attitude when addressing this issue only exacerbated our dissatisfaction. Moreover, the resort's refusal to provide basic lighting and Mr. Prashanth's suggestion to dim the lights we had arranged ourselves showcased a lack of professionalism and consideration for the guests' experience. In summary, the overall experience at Kimmane Golf Resort, Shivamoga, was marred by poor communication, unfulfilled promises, and a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. Mr. Prashanth's attitude and behavior throughout the process only added to our disappointment. We sincerely hope that our feedback will be taken seriously, and necessary improvements will be made to prevent other patrons from enduring a similar unpleasant experience. This review reflects our honest and regrettable experience, and we hope it prompts a thorough evaluation of the resort's management and services.
