Great location, right near the lake. But the room was unbelievably noisy, with just single glazed windows. Our room was on a floor where you needed to get a lift, then climb a single flight of stairs. One morning I went up to the wrong room and didn't notice. When I used my door key on the wrong door, it still opened, and there was another guest asleep in their room! Outrageous security to have door passes opening other rooms. Lastly, the welcome drink is just an excuse for the super pushy travel rep to try to sell you any trips under the sun. Cheapish room, but better value to be had elsewhere!

Booked at the sister hotel Hanoi Paradise Hotel & Travel but were “upgraded” to the sister hotel due to an issue with the room. Organised a free taxi for us which was good of them but took about 1.5 hours to check in twice. The upgraded room made us concerned about our original. The bathroom stank which spread into the room, shower was leaking and sprayed everywhere. Mattress was springy and just had a bed sheet over it. There was also a fan in the wall of the room so you could hear every conversation happening in the lobby and street throughout the night. Location was good, but for the price you can get much better.

The name of the hotel is Hanoi Lake View Hotel and Spa which is located at Lo Su Street. Very very unfortunate that I cannot do a Room Review with Booking. Com as they have blocked my review due to some complaints on my side. 3 issues raised : spare pillows in the wardrobe was very dirty (yellowish pillow case) with human hair on top. 2nd- room telephone was without cable. Cannot call in case of any emergency. 3rd- no free mineral water provided. Price is not cheap for a January 2024 stay and would I come back? Never to this hotel. Very into hard selling strategy at the front desk. In the end, they mentioned those spare pillows are NOT Meant to be used! Haha, I cannot accept such explanation. No wonder they don't clean those pillows.
