I recently stayed at the Lemon Tree Hotel in Srinagar, and unfortunately, my experience did not meet the expectations set by the supposed 4-star property. My name is Ali Hyder Magar, and I'd like to share my thoughts on the stay. Upon arrival, I was disheartened to find that the quality of the rooms did not align with the standards one would expect from a 4-star establishment. The rooms felt worse than a basic lodge, with minimal amenities and only one charging point. The overall condition of the rooms was below mediocre, leaving much to be desired. One of the most frustrating aspects of my stay was the lack of hot water in the room. When I inquired about this issue, the staff seemed clueless and failed to provide a satisfactory explanation. The service person's response, claiming that the cold water provided was the "least hot water" available, was both unprofessional and unsatisfactory. This lack of transparency and inability to address a basic necessity left me feeling as though I was staying in a subpar accommodation. Despite these disappointments, the saving grace of my stay was the food quality and the service at the hotel's restaurant. The meals were enjoyable, and the restaurant staff exhibited commendable service. However, a pleasant dining experience couldn't compensate for the overall shortcomings in the quality of accommodation. In conclusion, my stay at Lemon Tree Hotel in Srinagar fell far short of the expectations associated with a 4-star property. The inadequate room facilities, lack of hot water, and the unconvincing response from the staff make it hard for me to consider this hotel anything more than a 2-star property. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and works towards improving the overall guest experience.

Overall stay was good. Special mention about Mr. Ali Md - chef of Citrus cafe. We stayed there for two nights. Earlier, we had Gustava at different places but the one which I had there was supremely different. The taste of Rogan josh was also out of the world. Thanks to the culnery skills of Mr. Ali, we could enjoy the Authentic Kashmiri cuisine. This made our Kashmir trip memorable.
