I'm Amit and My experience at Sofitel Mumbai BKC was fabulous. The room had a great view. The service staff were efficient and friendly! The food portions was more than ample. The hotel decor was fabulous too! The car service to and from the airport was a blessing too!

Absolutely horrendous place to stay. We booked an apartment on Airbnb and it claimed to offer all the services you’d need for a comfortable stay complete with glossy pics but when we arrived, the room basic, was freezing and the heating wasn’t working. The hot water also didn’t work. There was brown stains on the seat and bed linen and the half duvet was found crumpled up in the wardrobe. What we did have to sleep on was flimsy and not adequate for winter time. We had to sleep with our coats on! One haggered, rough small towel was all we had to dry ourselves with. The whole place was sub standard and the bathroom was too small and the kitchen items were greasy and well used. We waited for 2 hours before a caretaker came to look at the heating but he just shrugged and said it wasn’t working then the host came later with an electric blow heater. It was a shambles. The building is also totally unfinished with concrete residue still on floors and gaping holes in walls. Random security men and cleaners also skulk the corridors and foyer and this is very intimidating late at night. Avoid it at all costs! Ps, don’t be fooled by the wordless 5 star reviews on here, they’re clearly paid for. This is an honest review by an international couple.
