10 out of 5 points for the killer view of the Khanchenjunga peaks. You can literally wake up and watch the majestic mountains from your bed. Common areas are so beautifully maintained. Staff are very polite and helpful. Food which we ordered got delivered to our room quite quickly. The major drawback is the food. Except the cheese omelette and some subs I which is had for breakfast, nothing tasted good. We wasted so much food and both the days of our stay. They really need to focus on the food quality since there are no places around to get good food, especially when it’s dark and extremely cold outside post 5 PM. So for the view, I would recommend this place for one night.

Fabulous property, beautifully located with a jaw dropping view of the Kanchenjungha range! Breakfast was really good too, though dinner could have been better. Warm and friendly service.

Visit type : Leisure in Property stay. our visit was more focused on property stay rather than siteseen. My view of the property is that I thought it might be among the best you can get in pelling but don't expect much considering the charges. Rooms are ok ok, they don't have duplex or family rooms that you can get in Udaan but they have a lot of open space for kids and you to enjoy. Now My view is that if you are planning to spend time on the property, Food should also be good which is where this fails. Specially ordered tea was good. 1 day we had food which was above average for 1 time that I remember but I don't think you can stay here for more that 2-3 days if you like good food, which I think is important for a good stay and vacation. otherwise if doing Local site seeing and spending time outside, you can get food from nearby places, I had good Maggie and tea near Lake. I also felt the staff was reluctant for some items in the restaurant and other issues. The restaurant is problematic and the hot water issue (no instant water heater if you wanna take a shower in cold weather) The receptionist was helpful but how much she can manage unwilling folks.

The facility is very well located and blessed with a great view nurtured with silence and unpredictable weathers (atleast when I visited). Most surprising view you can see very early morning at 5-5:30 when the weather is clear which is the huge snow covered Kanchenjunga mountain ranges in the surrounding. Stay was great and very chilly! Room services are up to the mark. Restaurant has veg as well as non-veg food options. Food quality and hygiene is up to the mark. Overall a best and memorable place to stay if you're travelling with your family or couple. Prefer cottage room 101 or 115 for the best view.
