Hotel location is the best part and more surprising is its history as netaji subhash chandra bose stayed here for some time. Gandhi chownk is at walkable distance. Hotel building itself gives you a impression of its age and history. Rooms are spacious but not maintained properly, can do much better. Rooms definitely give you some feel of its heritage only if you know it. Service is good not excellent.

This is a very nice hotel . Get a historical feeling when u r in the hotel . We stayed in the same room in which Subash Chandra Bose stayed (room no 109) . The rooms in the hotel r very spacious, much bigger than what we expected. This hotel is very close to the main shopping mall. Can't expect any luxurious facilities but all the basic facility for staying in the hotel are provided .Ours was a MAP plan. The breakfast and dinner served were tasty and hygienic. The view from the hotel is also very good.

A heritage hotel with a slice of history. We stayed in the same room (109) where Subash Chandra Bose stayed for about 7 months. Facilities are good. Food is tasty and hygienic. The view is superb, overlooking the pir-panjal range where we can also catch a glimpse of Kailash Parbat. The air is pristine and chill. Our experience was good.

I stayed in this hotel for a night with 10 of my friends. I won't say the rooms were that good but at the price we lived @600 per room in 2014, it was ok. The best part of the hotel was while leaving the hotel I left my bag there and also not in the room. It was the backside of the restaurant as I was clicking pics of the snow. It was 26th Jan. The bag had my hard disk which had all the photographs I clicked till then and of course other files. One mp3 player and watch and some miscellaneous stuff. After reaching back home to Bokaro, I had my shock of the life when I did not find the bag. I rang them (the manager then was an old man and I am sure that honest person will still be there) and told that I have left my bag and told them to please send me through courier and I will give the expense. However,they were kind enough to say no to expenses but eventually I got my bag through one of my friends in a fine condition after a month. Thank you Meher Hotel.
