Location and room are very good. Communication skill of room service is poor, only 2-3 kind of limited veg cuisine are available. Foods are not as per cost at all. They should improve their hospitality and communication skill. Only reception is helpful compared to others.

The resort has a nice view of the tea estates. The service at Nahar is top-notch. They take care of every little requirement of the customer. It had been a while since I stayed at a pure vegetarian venue. Perfect for a quiet stay away from the commercialized places!

Had lunch at their Prana restaurant. The prices are exhorbitant and the serving portions small. Despite the high price they didn't even give onion salad or pickle with north indian food and I had to ask them for it. When we asked for the left over portion to be packed the waiter said they will charge for it (which I have never seen elsewhere) and the cheap plastic container cost Rs 30, This after an order of around Rs700 for two. It was not peak season and the restaurant was empty except for us. Many items in the menu were not available. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

This hotel has a strange breakfast time that starts at 9am (they claim it’s mentioned as 8.30 across all sites but I can’t see it) so if you are someone who cares to eat by 8am or would like to pack breakfast on the day of checkout to drive out early - you don’t have a choice ( their cook is not in-house and reaches Nahar late and hence the 9am) Additionally their spread is very limited for the room rent they charge - on par with many 4stars. I have mild dust allergy and in many parts of the room I was only sneezing, so much so that we had booked for 2nights and we left without staying the second night. Spoke to the owner but I realised they don’t know the meaning of hospitality as they wanted to stick to their constraints of not having an in house chef and didn’t want to even think from a customer’s PoV. Quite surprised
