I was surprisingly surprised by the lack of basic hotel expectations here or standardization across rooms, from a working sink and tub (both clogged), lack of tea bags and coffee but just boiling water, and lack of iron. I ended up paying for pressing, only to later find out another room had an iron. I was happy at least they did "upgrade" me, only to find out it was again the standard room just now had an iron and tea bags. Views are amazing though.

It was a 5 star hotel long time ago, but not today. Nowadays it is only a good 3 star hotel. The rooms are spacious but old. The room service is very slow and if you need something try to call them at least 2 times. The breakfast is really good. The pool area is clean and beautiful. The worst part of the hotel is definitely the elevator, too old and small. The hotel needs a full renovation very soon.

Cleanliness and location of hotel is great. Room was as advertised and very nice/clean. The outdoor waiting staff and breakfast staff are amazing. The part that could use help and training is the lobby staff except the man that works the late shift. He is extremely helpful and nice. The day shift staff have either zero work ethic or no training. If you try calling the front desk nothing will get accomplished. You HAVE to go down in person and wait until the staff member they assign goes with you to your room to fix anything. Otherwise you fall into the abyss of careless assistance. Additionally if you ask anyone at the front desk pretty much anything they will always say they cannot do it that someone else has to. One person out of the 3 or 4 behind the front desk does all the work and there is always a long line waiting for their help due to the lack of assertiveness or lack or training or both. Again the gentlemen working the late shift is great and it would force me to wait until very late hours during my multiple day stay to get assistance. The day shift front counter staff would most certainly lose business for this hotel.

Ended up booking this hotel as it was supposedly ‘5 stars’ and it’s far from it! To start off we were told all staff speak English, in our entire stay we only spoke to 2 staff members who could actually speak English. Some of the staff are very rude and also try to do you over by giving you lower exchange rates and keeping the change themselves. Food was plain and standard, the actual waiters/staff who are in the dining hall ruined our day most the time, they keep badgering you to pay while eating even though you’re told you pay after you eat. Swimming pool is packed and never had space, rooms are dirty and old, the beach is about 4 metres long and has nothing to be excited about. Numerous other things that completely ruined our holiday, if I were you’d I’d honestly save my money and book somewhere else that is actually ‘5 stars’ and not a masked up hostel!!

The place was very good, the beach and the location are excellent. I rated service at 4 starts only because as a non French speaker I feel that the level of English could improve in general. And the reception people need to be more pro active and awake, they are a bit slow. But always polite and welcoming. The staff from the pool and beach are amazing, great attitude and energy. Overall, good experience and totally recommended!
