An all square accomodation is Reshmi Guest House in Varanasi. It is true to it's name Palace on River. Gate no. 2 of Mandir, Gadhuliya Chowk r only 3 to 4 min walking distance fr guest house. We stayed there 29th December of 2023 to Jan 2nd of 2024, our requirement was view room n we were 3adults, so we hv to book their super deluxe room, which was medium in size with all facilities of Geyser, Mini freeze, TV, Hot water kettle with few tea n coffee pouches n sugar, Wardrobe big size mirror, corner table n a couch. Environment was so serene, fr our room, full view of ma Ganga, Har Har chant of devotees, sweet sound of guest house adjacent small temple's bells n all the noise of boats, birds n daily human chores make it some another level which I can not put into words. There was another things which made me so happy, that their's squeaky clean bed linen, n blanket covers. But above all most important of all was the warm n helpful hospitality of theirs all staff members n management. Another important thing was Dolphin restaurant , which serves quality n tasty veg food, but those r pretty costly, but quality wise worth every penny. This is my 100% honest review that staying there was pretty amazing experience n they do not give us single reason of complain, mainly Mr. Chatterjee, Faizan, Manager of Dolphin restuarant made our stay in Varanasi like Athiti Devo Bhaba.

Stayed there fr 29 Dec, 23 to 1 jan 24, till night. I hv no complain, rooms r good, food at their restaurant Dolphin, is expensive but too good. No lift so aged people may face staircase steep. Mr. Faizan and Mr. Chatterjee both are very helpful. Room rent varies according to season and demand.

This is the best place to stay in varanasi. You can have river views and this hotel is on the heritage ghats of banaras. Even all the temples are nearby. You can watch ganga aarti also. The managers were so humble and friendly. I was travelling alone for official purpose so they guided me.

Any family having aged members above 55yrs should avoid hotel Rashmi, Varanasi. Access road to the hotel is so terrible that it is very very hard to travel by aged person. The road is slippery and moving upwards. Somewhere it is narrow like 2 ft width. In their advertisement they mentioned about room type with lot of amenities for super deluxe room or premium room. In super deluxe room they have mentioned to provide TV, Sanitary Bin, Sofa, Mineral water, Terrace, Dental Kit, Toiletries, Slippers, A/C, Geysers etc. etc. But at actual there is nothing. I booked a Super Deluxe Room for through MMT for 2days. I thought of getting all required amenities they mentioned in their ads. My horrible experience is that initially they gave me an ordinary double bed room and declared it is their super deluxe room. I had to explain them about the promises they have mentioned in my booking and after lot of arguments, they changed the room which is not desired at all. The deluxe rooms are in the 3rd floor. There is no lift and stairs are almost 65/70 degree inclined. For aged person it is very hard to climb. In the room intercom is not working. So for each and every item we had to come down from 3rd floor to ground floor number of times to say there is no water / no glass or cup/ no toilet soap/ no towel/ no dust bin in room/ TV not in service/ hot water is not available in toilet etc. etc. In fact, we should not mention all above because those are all very simple requirement and available even in ordinary hotel also, may be at a charge of INR 1500/night at Varanasi. About visit to Mandir and Ganga Aarati also, they have misguided us and asked for lump sum amount for arranging the visit which we managed free of cost.
