The resort has almost private beach (Honey beach) access as it is located quite far from Gokarna. The bridge that connects this resort and Gokarna main city is under repair. That's a blessing in disguise as many tourists don't take a 1 hour detour to visit this beach (which would have been 20 -30 min drive with bridge open). Our stay at RedEarth was pleasant and refreshing. The food could have been better to make it a 5 star stay. I give 2.5 -2.75 star to the food. Make sure to spend some money on travel if you want to visit Gokarna from this resort due to the location and bridge repair. Cheers to the staff for maintaining the resort clean and tidy.

Great location... picture perfect! Cleanest beach you ever find . As it's private beach no crowd except resort guests. If you want enjoy playing on the beach with your family must go place. Great food and hospitality. The rooms are okay but are clean. Road to resort is challenging but manageable! Will definitely recommend it! Do manage to go for nature walk behind the resort. That's a nice experience. Spa services are reasonable and good quality. Lunch is served on payment (600/- per head), which is reasonable for the spread they provide in such a remote location of gokarna.

Edited Response to respond to the owner's comment: Please re-read my review. My problem is not about the charging for pets, it is about not mentioning it anywhere. The very urge of yours to respond to a negative review without even reading it properly speaks volume about your hospitality Please do not travel with your pets to this resort. In the name of being pet friendly, they are misleading guests. No where in their website it is mentioned that, they charge an additional amount of 1500 per night for pets. Imagine you make a booking via make my trip or for that matter via their website, and you travel all the way to Go karna and realise you need to pay extra. Paying extra amount is not a problem, it's about not providing accurate information

We booked here having stayed at Red Earth Tadoba a few weeks ago. There was unfortunately no comparison. The Gokarna facility is really run down and maintenance quality leaves a lot to be desired. No amount of willing and helpful staff can overcome a professional maintenance standard. We had a lizard in the room along with hoards of mosquitos. We had to request for multiple Good Knight repellent and swab with Odomos! The price charged versus the quality provided was totally inappropriate.
