I visited tadoba tiger reserve during this vacation and stayed at red earth hotel for 1 night. It was a lovely experience. The naturalists Myra and Pallavi took very good care of us and they were well informed. Wish we had time for some nature trails with them. The hotel itself is nestled in the forest periphery and has a nice village feel to the rooms due to the selection of decor. The food was great and the service is awesome. Will definitely stay here for longer next time if i happen to visit Tadoba again.

When we saw this resort on google I called them and first thing I enquired was about safari. They promised to give us core VIP core safari for extra charges and we agreed. They were very cooperative and considered our request for early check in. Rooms were very good, spacious and clean with open to sky bathrooms. Then one of the staff told us there is no core safari but buffer safari and it is vip. “There is nothing called VIP for buffer” There was miscommunication between the person who took our booking and the staff at the resort. One of the staff at the resort was very rude. Finally we had no choice but to go for buffer safari and started early morning at 5.30 as we had to go to Somnath gate which is 45 min drive from the resort and we have to pay for the transportation to and from the resort. We couldn’t avail buffet breakfast at the resort as we had early morning safari and when we requested to adjust that towards the breakfast we had on the day of check in. They refused to do so. They have no answer on how they can compensate for our breakfast. Food was average. Glass water bottles on which they stored RO water was dirty and had fungus inside. All of us had throat infection once returned. Advice to carry mineral water bottles. Definitely not worth the price

The exorbitant New Year prices at this resort were unjustified, considering the complete lack of staff service. The quality of food reached new lows, making dining a regrettable experience. To add insult to injury, the manager and staff exhibited appalling rudeness. In essence, this resort offered no value for the exorbitant amount of money spent.

Not very transparent before the booking was done. We were promised Core safari, based on which we decided to book the trip and once we reached there, we were told that Core is not possible. There was miscommunication between the staff and some of the staff members were rude. Rooms were good. Location was close to only Zari gate, rest other gates were almost 30-45 mins away.
