Caretaker Ravi destroyed our very expensive holiday. We checked in on 4th August 2023 which happened to be the caretaker’s birthday. In spite of us refusing he insisted on treating us to chicken biryani for dinner since it was his birthday. He literally refused to let us order any food. Well, the promised food never arrived in spite of constant reminders that there were kids with us who would have liked to eat early. The reason was that Ravi was busy celebrating his birthday with family and friends who were clearly outsiders. Finally the food was served at 1130pm after constant reminders. The extra beds for the kids were not set up till 11.30 pm and after constant reminders from 9.30 pm we were told by Ravi’s wife that they got late as they were busy in their celebrations. The guests were waiting outside hungry and sleepy while the family was eating and celebrating downstairs. Ravi’s brother brought out Raita in a completely inebriated state unable to walk straight. He winked at a lady friend of ours. This pathetic evening was highlighted to the supervisor Vinod who promptly came the next morning to set things right and apologised but the damage was done. It soured the whole holiday for us. After the complaints Ravi’s wife Palak lost all her politeness and started being rude. Simple things like an extra blanket, a soap dispenser, extra towels and pillows were refused with the excuse that they do not have any more to give. The property is nice but needs a lot of maintenance. ACs dont work, bathrooms leak and the most important thing is that the MASTER BEDROOM DOES NOT HAVE A DOOR! One entire side is covered by a curtain and doesn’t even have a wall. All in all it has been an absolutely pathetic experience. Never trusting Saffron Stays again. Back to hotels.

Nice villa with a good view. Rooms are good. However we entered into a dirty unkept place. The staff was a bit too overfriendly to the point of being intrusive. Service was very poor. Overall too expensive for the experience.
