-ves: - The area is not at all secluded, so the name is misleading. - Cheap and old furnishings, especially the main sofa was very underwhelming. Like a cheap youth hostel sofa. - Bedrooms are not of equal size, are old and faded. The one bedroom below was badly infested with mold and was unhabitable. We had booked entire villa, but had to fit ourselves in the 3 rooms on the first floor, one of which was too small to live in. The fixtures, door handles, were all loose and coming out. - Most bathrooms are small and all are of very very low quality. Fittings, tiles etc. nothing premium. - Surroundings of the property are filthy. Plastic bags everywhere along the road and in the canal. Not swach Bharat at all. - View from the common balcony is very mediocre. Only one room has a view, otherwise you have to step out of the premises entirely and walk a bit to see the mountains outside. - Unfair booking terms. They take entire fee advance and have no guest friendly terms of cancellation. Even in off-season, when there was red alert of floods and flights were cancelled, they were not agreeing to reschedule our booking. +ves: - Corteus and accommodating staff at the property - Generous food servings and mostly above average tasting food. If they upgrade the property, lower the costs and change the name, then it might be better. Family of 9. Entire villa 12-14 Aug.

The most horrible experience ever. The pictures shown are deceptive. The real place is no where similar to the pictures. The place doesn't have the basic amenities of a good hotel. No electricity backup and the power cuts in this area are longer than 2 hours. All drainage in the washroom are blocked. The balconies have no drainage..it becomes a swimming pool after one heavy rain. In the name of the movie night.. they have given a projector with slowest internet service. The interiors are horrendous. The team at the backend has no interest whatsoever in resolving the matter of this particular property as per their manager. The only interest in charging too much money for which the place is not worth at all. ..

He ensured that I was well taken care of, making certain that I never missed a meal and attending to my every need. The food served at the hotel was not only delicious but also reminiscent of home-cooked meals, leaving me thoroughly satisfied after each dining experience. Throughout my stay, tranquility and serenity enveloped me, providing the perfect environment to unwind and relax. The ambiance of Seclude Palampur is nothing short of heavenly, allowing me to truly escape the chaos of everyday life. I wholeheartedly recommend this enchanting retreat to anyone seeking solace and rejuvenation. In conclusion, I am absolutely thrilled with my stay at Seclude Palampur. The impeccable service and genuine care from Mr. Bajinder Singh, coupled with the homely and scrumptious food, created an unforgettable experience.
