Shilhaandara Resort

My experience is horrible in this resort. There are so many issues with property. We had booked a Jacuzzi room for 2 days and were utterly disappointed. Though we booked for two days we left the resort in a day and couldn't stay there. Jacuzzi Room: The check in time was at 12pm but I got it ready for 1.45 pm. Nobody came to receive the guest nor any one to provide information. Housekeeping is careless and doesn't answer intercom calls to clean up. The room was average and the bathroom exhaust was broken. Premise : I see the premise is very clumsy, litters everywhere. Shoked to see a huge pile of dump near the guest dining room with a mosquito infestation. Management needs to find serious thoughts to keep the equipment in condition. Amenities: There is no maintenance of the kids play area, the indoor kids playing area has old uncleaned toys. There were missing play props in the indoor sports room and it was very dark with a mosquito in the evening. Food: Food is average and not worth the money. The breakfast time was very late and was at 8.30 am and that too many items were available post 9.30 am. The dining hall was getting cleaned/swept while having breakfast which led to dust accumulation on food. Staff: Even though they were polite, I sensed they are untrained or short of staff. Needs immediate attention in this area. Overall, The management should give serious thoughts about improving the property with more investment in infrastructure and staff. Cleanliness is paramount to sustain the venture. I see the opportunity is lost in so many aspects with great landscape. The only good thing was the premise is surrounded by great visuals of cliffs and mountains. The place was easy to locate.
