"We had an exceptional stay at Shiv Tara, where every detail contributed to a memorable experience. The pure vegetarian food surpassed expectations in taste, quality, and hygiene. The cultural programs were captivating, and the camel safari to the nearby sand dunes added an adventurous touch. The well-maintained desert hut provided comfort, and the thoughtful inclusion of a kettle for hot water on demand was a practical touch. Overall, Shiv Tara offered a perfect blend of culinary delight, cultural immersion, and comfortable accommodation. Highly recommended for a truly enjoyable getaway in Sam sand dunes."

What I have experienced from others traveller's, more or less all desert camps offers same. There are around 250 desert camps. Competition among them is stiff. So everyone is putting up there best. Wherever you are getting better deal, you should book in that desert camp. Best would be to book on the spot for best deal. Breakfast and dinner was good. Cultural events were fun. Hospitality was great.

Visited Shiv Tara desert camp on 26 Nov '23. It has good reviews on Google. Also images shared with us on phone were impressive. But the ambience of the tent was nowhere close to what was shown. Food was good with variety of items. But evening snacks was a hoax. Cultural program was average. The service and hospitality of staff was decent. Overall a good experience.
