Silver Oak Villa

It was a kind of okay okay experience and there was only one major problem that the windows and the door cannot be locked from inside and it was as if someone from outside can come ,there was no safety and the windows didn't have any grills it was totally open so we had to protect our belongings and sleep in fear Whatever the case is even if they were having cctv but how can a family stay freely at place when there is no lock and safety inside the house ,anything can happen anytime What if someone comes and does inappropriate thing what will be the cctv of help after its done So safety is highly recommended to be upgrade However the place was good 👍🏻

Absolute value for money apartment to stay! I went with my family of 4 in July 2018 and these were my observations - The Apartment - Very clean and tidy. Contains 2 rooms with each having a bed large enough for 2 adults to sleep. The hall was spacious too with enough space to put 3-4 mattresses on the floor. Entire apartment was neat and clean, no dust anywhere. TV and refrigerator were working well. Outside the apartment there was a small pool and swing which was well maintained too. The Management - The villa manager Mr. Santosh and his wife were very warm and cordial. Helped us out a lot and were very polite. Food - The restaurant within the premises serves veg as well as non-veg food, so if you're a vegetarian like me it's suggested to avoid eating in that place. Surrounding area - It is about 5-10 minutes away from the main market (by car). It is advisable to not go by car as the villa is located at the end of a very steep downward slope that can make it very difficult for non-locals to walk up (or even down). The main market has one pure veg restaurant - Namaste's Purohit - which is also very good. Places to visit - Since you've most likely come to explore, it is essential to know which places are nearby. The villa is approx. 15-20 mins (by car) away from Table Land, Sydney Point as well as Harrison's Folly. It is also very close to Parsi Point. So in your itinerary for Panchgani, you can safely cover all these places within one day. The few negligible cons that happened with us were - 1) The electricity went off for the entire night during the second night of our stay. 2) There is a small farm next to the villa at some distance and some of the chickens kept hooting on throughout the night, so if you're a light sleeper you're likely to get disturbed. Overall, it is still one of the most paisa-vasool places you can find in Panchgani. It had the lowest cost amongst a whole list of hotels I searched for and despite the low cost it did not disappoint. I highly recommend you check this out!
