My recent stay at Desert Springs exceeded expectations, primarily due to the outstanding service provided by the staff. From check-in to check-out, their attentiveness and professionalism were truly commendable. The breakfast buffet was a highlight of my stay, offering a diverse array of delicious options. The culinary experience surpassed my expectations, providing a delightful start to each day. In the evening, the entertainment program added an extra layer of enjoyment to my stay. It showcased the hotel's commitment to providing a well-rounded and enjoyable experience for guests. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its impeccable service, delectable breakfast buffet, and engaging evening entertainment.

It’s a small and good camping site with 3 types of tents. The food spread and quality was very good. Location wise it is well located with sand dunes nearby where a camel will take you for a great sunset view. In terms of cost, all the camps are overpriced so at least this one is managed properly with proper billing system with GST. Quality of service and amenities can be improved.

This place is really deplorable! I feel writing a review is very important so that others are aware of reality. Really wonder on what basis they call themselves a resort! When I though of visiting Jaisalmer, the first thing I booked was a camping area near sand dunes and unfortunately someone suggested this sub standard place :( Location: it's some 20-25 km away from actual sand dunes(Sam). I didn't go for a camel ride so don't know if they take you to some sand area(no possibility of big sand dunes though) nearby! Location is very ordinary with no scenic backdrop. Amenities: They won't provide tea in the room. We reached just before sunset and they denied any room service. They didn't offer any paid option of tea or coffee either. A welcome drink on arrival was given and that too was few ounces of Rooh afza; imagine it for a cold evening. Dinner: It was told that a cultural program will begin around 7:30 pm and snacks and dinner will be served there only. In snacks, there were only two options and for getting those also, I had to repeatedly call and request the manager. All the staff were focusing on front row only so it was complete chaos and mismanagement. The tent: the tent was spacious that could easily accommodate two adults and a kid so no much complaint here! The cultural program: I found the program rather uninteresting and not at all near my expectations! There was one lady who was performing at the stage and although she was talented in herself, the coordination as a whole, the sound quality, the instrument quality were all below standard. Staff: Staff appeared very cold in behaviour to me. Although no one misbehaved but the way they handled the concerns was not at all satisfactory. When I told the front desk staff that we will be leaving in the night itself, they didn't look concerned at all and in a very cold way, asked for the remaining payment for complete dinner, breakfast and stay package. Food quality was average and not very great! In summary, it didn't look a hospitable environment at all and these guys won't care for your concerns. As I had my relatives living in Jaisalmer, I could leave early around 8:30 pm so we hardly tolerated this place for two hours. But others with compulsion to stay will have no escape so please set your expectations right! No activities, no interesting show just sit idle at the mercy of these people.

I will not recommend this camp to anyone. When we check in room was full of dust. They charge us for A/c Royal room and give us without A/c room. Hot water not coming so we have to call servant and ask for bucket of hot water. Inside room refreshment stuff was overpriced. Camel ride was included but just right about outside the camp. Middle of Night time there was camel was eating tree right behind the our tent and making weird noice. Call security no one came to solve the issue. I will not visit again and not recommend to anyone 🙏 please

The best place in Jaisalmer I would say! I totally recommend this place and bet you won't be disappointed. Absolutely professional, very polite staff, super delicious food and great stay. I went during the off season and a weekday, so there weren't any other guests, hence they had called off the evening dance performance (music was there), but when we told them that we were looking forward to the rajasthani dance performance, the managed to pull it off just for us!!!! The camel safari was during the sunset and it was the most beautiful sunset ever..in the dunes! From the manager, to the chefs and kitchen staff to the housekeeping staff everyone were extremely polite and welcoming. I am never looking for another place ever on Jaisalmer whenever I go to visit there next.
