I recently visited an event at the function hall of Svm Grand Hotel, and it exceeded my expectations. The venue was elegantly decorated, creating a sophisticated and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of, from setting up the audio-visual equipment to arranging the seating. Their professionalism and attention to detail made the entire event seamless. The catering service provided by the hotel was above average. The menu had a diverse range of delicious options, and the presentation was impeccable. The spaciousness of the function hall allowed for flexibility in event layout.

Went for friends engagement here. It is very big building and it has multiple functions halls. Ambience is good. Very clean and well maintained washing rooms. Function hall is in decent size, only problem is there are pillars inbetween in the function hall which are blocking view for some audience. Overall great place and looks very luxurious.

Recently for Jan 21, Sunday 2024 we booked one of the banquet halls at SVM for 1st birthday event. I had great experience at the time of booking, front office and the personnel who handled the booking were extremely professional and polite. They had in house decoration for stage and lighting, the team followed up multiple times and I am satisfied with the output they delivered. It was a big and emotional event which was one of the mile stones for our family, we have invited around 250 guests and paid for the same a week earlier to the event. The poor service by the staff was disappointing, we were removing the table on stage which was supposed to be used for cake cutting as we could not find any one and we tried calling the support staff they did not turn up to help us. Later we again put the table back and this time too no help from them even after multiple reminder, interesting part is second time they were watching us carrying the stuff but did not bother to arrange things. Now, the most annoying part is they played the birthday song at least 5 mins after we cut the cake, level of arrogance they had. During dinner few of the guests were disappointed by the pathetic service of food, even flagged to manager for which he responded ' you can eat if you like or leave the food'. Most of the guests were annoyed and had to dispose the food in garbage cans as the food was pathetic. so called manager had informed the staff to serve as they were supposed to and leave it up to guests if they want to eat. I don't exactly remember his name but we have decided not to refer this place to anyone. Other family friends and relatives told me the same that every function they attend in this SVM, the experience is same every time, I realized I wasted my money.

I have visited this place for a birthday party.. The Banquet hall was too small for 100 people. Most disappointed thing was food.. They charged 650 per plate for veg food and kept a locally made tutti fruity ice cream. My daughter fell sick( severe cold)after having that ice cream.. Other items were average in quality.. Overall our family experience was bad at this venue..

Went here for lunch, amazed by the quick service of starters. Fish pepper was the star item tossed in coconut oil. Crispy corn , Naan, tandoori chicken was all very standardized and great taste. They can work a bit on the air smell towards the end of the restaurant and have some real air purifier plants. It smelt like a closed stuffy room. Service Staff is polite and very attentive, Valet parking is available.
