A nice and quiet hotel nestled in the kumayuon hills. You get a stellar view of the Himalayas from the hotel. You can enjoy lunch and breakfast in the open while taking in ample sunshine. There is sufficient parking. The staff is courteous and friendly. The food is nice though service is a bit slow but that is to be expected from a holiday hotel. It is not a business hotel. Made primarily of wood, it helps to keep the place naturally warm

We traveled as a group of 13 people - all down with food poisoning except my 7 month baby as I was cooking his food in the room. A holiday than turned into a nightmare when my other child had to be hospitalized for the same. What is the point of great views and hospitable staff if hygiene is questionable? I understand that this may not be a permanent problem with the hotel - maybe there was a bacterial outbreak in the kitchen : a cook : I have travelled extensively across the Himalayas, lived in tents and had fresh food. This is not a big ask, Te Aroha.
