The resort has a river on one side and beach on the other side. The premises is quite large and has big garden for kids to play. The hotel is at walk-able distance from the beach. Taxi service is available just right outside of the hotel. They have a in-house pure veg. restaurant. The food is quite tasty and the buffet has good spread. Room service is quite prompt and the pool is quite good. Overall, the location is quite good and it is value for money.

I recently visited The Byk old anchor beach resort and has very disappointing experience. We booked our rooms 1 months before so that we can have our rooms booked. Still we have to wait for more that 1 hours after 12 but they didn’t provided room. When they provided it It was not having Working refrigerator, They didn’t provide room service even ordering water bottle. We called them several times to check on refrigerator but they didn’t came. There restaurant declined to provide room service to provide food. Even though they don’t provide ala carte into restaurant and they charge you extra on all cold drinks.

It is really good for a budget friendly trip. The property is at the prime location and really vast. The rooms need improvement, which I have been told by the authorities is that renovation is on going. The vegetarian food they served is really good. I had to catch a flight at night. Up on request, the manager Mr. Dilwar permitted us for few hour's extended stay. Overall very good experience from the hotel staffs.

Ill maintained property - rooms, riverside swing is rusty, activity room and billiard room are not in usable condition. Worst rooms ever. The property needs renovation, currently the rooms are very old along with the oldest rusty bathroom equipments. Beds and sofas are of worst quality - oldest and hard. Walls are in worst condition. No hot water facility. Pungent smelling washrooms. Expectations from Byke group were very high however, ruined our vacation. Not at all a 3-star property. Won't ever recommend anyone to stay here.
